Bio

HA! I know my friends will wonder what took me so freakin' long to sign up for LJ. I resisted the temptation... until now (December 2005). I'm a writer, photographer, web designer, proofreader(just don't hold my bio and/or entries against me... you pay me to edit/proof and I'm unusually pissy), and all-around layabout. Nature/animal/music/movies/tv/book lover. I change my look (hair) semi-frequently, including a bout with hot pink highlights. I live in Chicago, though by this time next year, I may be in Portland, OR. I don't know yet. I have a spot on MySpace, but am frequenting it less and less. Lots of weirdos there. I am currently writing a fantasy novel that I started during NaNoWriMo 2005. Yes, I did it. Yes, I won. For those who don't know what winning NaNo means, it is simple: you write a 50K word novel (or write 50K of a novel) in the month of November. This was my first year, and I won. I have my BA in Creative Writing... so if I hadn't won, I would have given my degree right back (not really... I just would've been REALLY ashamed). Now, I just need to finish the damn thing.
